The extension has no backend server. Pages are captured, stitched, redacted, and edited entirely inside your own browser, and the result stays on your machine unless you share it yourself. This website is a separate static site; what it loads and measures is described in full in the Privacy Policy.

When GoFullScreenshot cannot capture a page
Chrome blocks extensions on chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, the Developer Dashboard, and pages belonging to other extensions. Local files are Chrome-controlled: capture works only after you enable Chrome's separate "Allow access to file URLs" switch and explicitly capture the local file you are viewing. Directly opened local HTML supports Full page, Visible area and Select area; other browser-rendered local formats are not currently guaranteed, and Chrome's protected local PDF viewer supports Visible area only. GoFullScreenshot never enumerates folders, scans your device, opens unrelated files, runs on files in the background, or uploads file content, and it shows a clear message instead of failing silently.
Embedded full-page capture
Some websites place their real full page inside an embedded page from another site. GoFullScreenshot shows the exact site and asks before Chrome grants access. Nothing is granted at installation. One-time access is removed after the capture. You can optionally remember that exact site and remove it later in Settings.
Same-origin embedded pages are processed without any extra host permission. Extra permission is only needed when a non-scrolling website shell loads the real long page in a dominant cross-origin iframe.
What the public package contains
Version 1.9.60 is the current Stable release of the Free extension in the Chrome Web Store. The public package contains no Pro controls, no Pro automation, no batch capture, no account, and no payment.
